Last Train Home
LostProphets

One! Two! Three!

To every broken heart in here
Love was once a part, but now it's disappeared
She told me that it's all a part of the choices that you're making
Even when you think you're right
You have to give to take

But there's still tomorrow
Forget the sorrow
And I can be on the last train home
Watch it pass the day
As it fades away
No more time to care
No more time, today

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

I wonder if you're listening
Picking up on the signals
Sent back from within
Sometimes it feels like I don't really know what's going on
Time and time again it seems like everything is wrong in here

But there's still tomorrow
Forget the sorrow
And I can be on the last train home
Watch it pass the day
As it fades away
No more time to care
No more time, today

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

Well we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To never fall in love
To never fall in love again

The Train Shake-up Began
Me

I deal chaos!

One eerie time in Hatfield town,
An infant crying, ladies scream out in their gowns,
Hooter is out, trains steer out of route into the gutter.
An eye sees bleak, he heads home,
All the weeping for what?

Aggrieving the rail men,
Worsening, rotten,
Fool Tony privatises the trains.
And he makes a few
While his money grew,
Flog education too
But what else is new?

Now he gains
Overly big profits,
Now he gains
A movement of loot,
Now we gain
Avid insurrection,
Get set, war lit the sky!

British Rail was not ideal,
Then at least it was public.
Railtrack made one reel,
Now the train engines do not go out on time, fees are huge.
Oh yet why then, employees done out of their fair enough deals?

Aggrieving the rail men,
Worsening, rotten,
Fool Tony privatises the trains.
And he makes a few
While his money grew,
Flog education too
But what else is new?

Now he gains
Overly big profits,
Now he gains
A movement of loot,
Now we gain
Avid insurrection,
Get set, war lit the sky!

Now he gains
Overly big profits,
Now he gains
A movement of loot,
Now we gain
Avid insurrection,
Get set, war lit the sky!

Now he gains
Overly big profits,
Now he gains
A movement of loot,
Now we gain
Avid insurrection,
Get set, war lit the sky,
We throw out this ingrained Tory!

Shakespeare's 18th sonnet, anagrammed into an acrostic poem.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall Death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st;
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Handsome, smart men on the floor in our room,
Odd how I hear that ceiling burst and slam.
Many months battering and futile gloom,
Envy-shattered affections, a right sham.
Like an overshadowed schoolroom, it seems.
End the continued hollow moment please,
Shivering at their not few sluttish dreams.
Shagging the playhouse horse barefaced at ease,
Hoofed beasts even often in your sex games,
And llamas but not me, lass you're this loose.
Roses from me thrashed up, I am called names,
Lies and dishonesty, there is no truce.
Only mind-read each line's first letter through,
This reveals what I compare onto you....

L'Internationale, antigrammed.

L'Internationale

Arise ye workers from your slumbers
Arise ye prisoners of want
For reason in revolt now thunders
And at last ends the age of cant.
Away with all your superstitions
Servile masses arise, arise
We'll change forthwith the old conditions
And spurn the dust to win the prize.

So comrades, come rally
And the last fight let us face
The Internationale unites the human race.
So comrades, come rally
And the last fight let us face
The Internationale unites the human race.

No more deluded by reaction
On tyrants only we'll make war
The soldiers too will take strike action
They'll break ranks and fight no more
And if those cannibals keep trying
To sacrifice us to their pride
They soon shall hear the bullets flying
We'll shoot the generals on our own side.

No saviour from on high delivers
No faith have we in prince or peer
Our own right hand the chains must shiver
Chains of hatred, greed and fear
Ever the thieves will give up their booty
And give to all a happier lot.
Those at the forge must do their duty
And we'll strike while the iron is hot.

L'Clintonationale

Hello United States citizens,
Past President known as Willy.
The nation's head who felt great honour,
My world rule was rather silly.
The business rates drop while others starve,
Speaking tonnes of this lying slur,
About this health insurance promise,
Men disheartened while fatcats purr.

So oilmen and fatcats,
Who can see me fall from grace?
L'Clintonationale, it spites the human race.
So oilmen and fatcats,
Who can see me fall from grace?
L'Clintonationale, it spites the human race.

The strikebreaker in Colombia,
The Cola workers' spirits grow.
Revolution of the drinks business?
Hurry, a violent overthrow!
The Middle East thought it not funny,
Earth is on fire and they die.
See any vivid things end up bad
When vain, Aryan, randy fools lie.

Got a lot of irreverent head,
Leer round that whoring intern's skirt.
Yahoo, forehead's in her unhaired twat,
Held her lovely tits 'till they hurt.
Oh well, one lie sewed far greater pain,
More than any you shout could forge.
I created more headway like this;
These errors caused those votes for George....
