Luke 2:10-14 |
|
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. |
The birth of the Christ child in Bethlehem: A radiant, divine Virgin Mary (with glowing corona) held the idyllic baby Jesus, who was snuggly and giggly. This beautiful lady bearing God's only son is truly a profound, fantastic mystery of Good Hope. Then the tiny, adorable infant napped with ewes on hay -- with astounded shepherds lauding. Later, three Oriental sages follow a nova, each hoping to unload gold, oil, and other oddish goodies. |

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. |
I'd call it one irrefutably fantastic place (the oil-fiend President George Bush and all), considering that I've the distinct unalienable freedom to go out, do what I wish. - J.F. |
