Psalm 51 |
1 |
Have mercy upon me, O God, according
to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender
mercies blot out my transgressions. |
Aching of vice, king contacts God:
don't curse my soul, dear Lord, it's tortured; soothe thou my
aching soul; don't even remember my petty sinning. |
2 |
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse
me from my sin. |
I'm immensely changed from sinful ways on my
throne. I quit harem. |
3 |
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my
sin is ever before me. |
I now ever see in front of me, as blame, my
sorry degrading sickness. |
4 |
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and
done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified
when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. |
The deep sin-hole! I'm not going to try and
whitewash these base, unjust deeds; the sick, the naughty, the
evil, and the unjustifiable things that I have done. |
5 |
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin
did my mother conceive me. |
In birth I indicated passion. Ah, even in mommy
I showed delinquency. |
6 |
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. |
Ah, when the Lord that nurtured me looketh down
inside me, I'd best worship him, not that stupid, dark Satan. |
7 |
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. |
Oh, when my head's asperged with new balm, ablution
helps halt carnal sin wishes. |
8 |
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones
which thou hast broken may rejoice. |
I ached. My joints? Just shambles! Ah, he can
renew and hook them together to bear okay. |
9 |
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all
mine iniquities. |
Hey, I'm amoral, and I'll quit my sin if thou
findest it obscene. |
10 |
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew
a right spirit within me. |
Ah, remain great with wisdom. Hate retired,
regain innocent place. |
11 |
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take
not thy holy spirit from me. |
My Lord, thy affection maketh me happy. Can
it not treat men's sorrow? Yes! |
12 |
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and
uphold me with thy free spirit. |
The Lord's truth's what I'm so very happy to
meditate on in the journey of life. |
13 |
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and
sinners shall be converted unto thee. |
Thy servants shall bind Satan. Enlightened slayer
rues sorrow, connects with thee. |
14 |
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou
God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. |
Foul human sin! If it's in vogue, let me go
do my moral duty based on God. Lord everlasting, I shall go shout
of thy goodness. |
15 |
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall
shew forth thy praise. |
Hey, my Lord will help to destroy that harsh
human of pompous sin. |
16 |
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would
I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. |
If I go with heart set true to the Lord, it's
virtuous. No insincere self-deceit; no bluffing God! |
17 |
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a
broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. |
Pride's a true poison of darkness. Await to
check it at the Lord's door before going in. He can't bear it. |
18 |
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build
thou the walls of Jerusalem. |
Godly tune: "The Soul of Talmud Zeal -
Proud be Glorious Jewish Nationhood!" |
19 |
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices
of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering:
then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. |
The best of our clean sheep, perfect unhurt
cows, and fat fowl shall be brought in nightly before the Lord's
fire for killing; then he shuns us not; we attain his faith. |
Psalm 8 |
1 |
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is
thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. |
He ruleth over all existence, he
who hath not any rival! so the world, the moon, the stars gladly
obey. |
2 |
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast
thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest
still the enemy and the avenger. |
Thou hast taken our children and thou hast given
gifts unto them to defend us; by heroic statement those mightiest,
huge, mean foes shall be beaten. |
3 |
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy
fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; |
Check out what God's word hath hewn so far,
shiny in the ether. The reason: his very deft hands in motion. |
4 |
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and
the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
O, that man's with hurt this moment; thus I've
had that most fond human affiliation. |
5 |
For thou hast made him a little lower than the
angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. |
Thy thrill, a man and woman! The highest creation
thou hast formed in the whole world: a grand soul! |
6 |
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works
of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: |
This human son stood with haughty demeanor;
he thrived, his mouth full of that red venison top steak. |
7 |
All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the
field; |
He easily expands a fold on the land, eats the
beef. |
8 |
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea,
and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. |
He hunteth feathered feasts, he hath angled
off of rivers; Oh wow! is that hash? Pass the potatoes! |
9 |
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in
all the earth! |
And a world chorus extolleth their only eternal
Elohim. |
