Introduction

This section of the website contains the rules regarding:


Recent Rule Changes

  1. February 2011:
    Further clarification and re-wording of Nomination Eligibility Rule d.

  2. March 2011:
    Some editing of the rules, including clarification of the nomination rules.

  3. February 2010:
    The voting period was reduced from three days to two.

  4. 20th December 2009:
    Members with more than three entries in a category in the Grand Anagrammy Awards must reduce the number of their entries in such categories to maximum of three.

  5. 30th June 2009:
    Changes to the nomination rules: Search of Anagrammasia database required to exclude rediscoveries.

Preamble

  1. The Anagrammy Awards is a monthly competition held by the members of the Anagrammy Forum to select the best anagrams posted in the Forum each month. It began in March 1998.

  2. There are ten award categories.

  3. Winners are selected by popular vote.

  4. Members may use their real names or aliases. Most current members use their real names.
